Fall Dress and Booties from Revolve

Hi loves! Happy Hump day!

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.  I am loving this weather lately.  Its the perfect temp here in NY.  Its chilly at night (perfect sleeping weather!) and then warms up to the low 70’s during the day.  This time of the year is my all time fave because I just love the clothing you can wear-and of course all things pumpkin!.  From booties to layers I love them all LOL.  Here are some dresses I think are so perfect for the fall and I matched them up with some booties that I thought completed the look.  I am really loving the suede and mule booties trend this season!  I found all these awesome items at Revolve one of my fave online shops!

Fall Outfit Look

Hi!

I do not know about you, but as soon as the mornings start to get chilly I get such an itching for Fall time! Autumn in NY is amazing. I just love the smell of the air, change in the color of the leaves, sweaters and boots, pumpkin everything and of course hot apple cider.  Since I have started shopping and picking up some new looks for this fall I thought I would put together a cute look.  I have been so in love with mule shoes this season.  Check out where you can get this cute look below!

Copenhagen, Denmark-outfit details!

Hi loves!

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend, weather was beautiful here in NY, we even got to go swimming in our friends pool!  I know I mentioned I would start posting about my trip and of course life has been a bit hectic since returning.  Finally just uploaded some of the 2000+ pictures we took on our camera.  Still working on editing them and sorting through the better ones.  I thought I would share some that I have from my iPhone as well as include some outfit details!

Copenhagen will always hold a special place in our hearts.  My husbands mother, Birgit, was from Denmark and raised right outside of Copenhagen.  She met my father-in-law and moved to the states where they then raised my husband and his brother.  Since Birgit’s entire family was still in Denmark they made yearly visits with the kids while they were growing up.  My husband was very lucky to have the experiences he did while in Denmark.  Since he had been going there pretty much every summer he was able to make such a great network of friends as well.  We would like to continue the tradition of bringing our future children there and giving them similar experiences to what Thomas had.  My brother-in-law, Adam, made his way to Denmark 4 years ago to join the Danish Army.  This was our 2nd time visiting since he has made the move, and of course he was back a number of times to the states as well over those 4 years.  Family means the world to me.  I think that growing up and sharing experiences with loved ones is important and what life is all about.  Thomas has no family in the states anymore.  His mother and father have both passed away and his brother is now living in Denmark, for what looks like the rest of his life, if not for a number of years still.  I have the privileged of being able to see my parents and close relatives by planning a weekend to drive home.  For Thomas is it a long plane ride away.  We plan on making Denmark an every other year vacation to keep a close connection with his family.  It is just as important to me as it is to him.

So with that said, this part of our trip was amazing!  I have been to Copenhagen a couple of times now, both times before were in the winter.  Now, don’t get me wrong, Copenhagen is gorgeous in the winter, but man was it cold.  I didn’t mind it too much since they don’t get the intense amounts of snow like we do in New York, but it does get pretty chilly.  The last time we went before this trip was during Christmas.  It was such a fun experience to see all the traditions and being able to spend quality family time.  This time was just so different.  We were in Denmark for a total of 14 days.  We got to stay with Adam as well as Thomas’ cousin, Christian, and his family.  Since Thomas and Adam spent most of their time in Denmark in the summers I would always hear about how amazing Danish summers were.  It was never too hot, but warm enough to make a few dips in the water.  I was excited to finally get a chance to experience the Denmark that Thomas knew so well.  With it being warmer out and sunny we got to see and do so much.  We even got to go to the bathing bridge near his grandmothers house to swim.  The same bathing house that they would swim at all summer long.  Here are just a few pictures from Copenhagen.  I plan on writing a few more entries on Copenhagen since we saw and did so many great things.  I feel one entry would not do it justice.

I hope you all had a nice weekend, weather was amazing! I just love the heat (I know some think that is so crazy) but I really do.  Put me outside in the sun (preferably near a body of water, or sprinkler lol) and I am so happy and content.  Something about how relaxing it is just makes me happy.

So I have recently been loving this site, SheIn, and I needed to share some things about it.  I love how cute everything is but what is even better are the prices!  I mean everything is affordable and they really have the latest fashions available too.  I thought I would share some super cute outfits that I plan on getting for my trip!

Floral dress date night

Hi loves! I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend.  Honestly, Tom and I had plans to do a bunch of things around the apartment and we ended up catching up on sleep and relaxing most of it instead!  Yesterday it was so rainy and I love nothing more then having the windows open and listening to the rain, its SO calming.  So overall we had a great weekend even if we didn’t get done the things we wished to do, there is always next weekend 🙂

We did go out Saturday night for a little Mexican dinner in town.  I decided to get dressed up in this cute floral sleeveless turtleneck dress I bought that has an open back (pictures above).  I decided to wear a cute fitted, strappy, crop top underneath it to complete the look.  I also did a fun braid in my hair to change it up from my usual down and wavy look.  I got my dress at a little boutique in the city but I found a couple cute ones that have the same sort of style that I found here:

I am wearing gold ones in my picture but I also have the silver ones that I love!

Hi dolls! TGIF! I hope everyone enjoyed a nice short week.  I loved having Monday off, I think that should be the new norm, especially since Monday is by far the worst day of the week LOL.  It made this week fly by!  The weather over the holiday weekend was GORGEOUS in NY, lots of activities outside which is always a plus!

I thought I would end the week with some staple items.  I love go to outfits that are cute but also casual and comfortable.  I just love a good t-shirt and jeans and I thought these accessories were perfect as well.  You can never go wrong with a cute choker necklace and a nice light lip color!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Neon Summer

Hi loves!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I got to celebrate my birthday Saturday with a few of my friends and we had so much fun! We went to a NY Mets game (and they won!!) and then out to a nice dinner and drinks.  I am so exhausted from it, still!  The older I get the less able I am to go out til late haha.  Oh the joys of aging!

I am so excited we are finally getting into warm weather.  I have been SO pumped that our Euro trip is around the corner and I have been buying items here and there for the trip.  I have always loved bright fun colors for the summer time and these few items I just couldn’t pass up and thought I would share!

Chicnova Clothing

Hi loves, Happy Hump Day! I hope everyone is having a fabulous week so far.  My week hasn’t been too bad, mainly because of the gorgeous weather we are finally seeing!

I am excited to share with you an awesome site with amazing prices and deals called Chicnovaicon!  I was shocked when I saw how great their prices are! I did some research because prices this great usually mean they are coming in from overseas and I was right.  I read a bunch of reviews and most of what I read was positive.  Shipping taking a bit longer was the biggest negative comment I read but other then that the site seams pretty legit.  I have not yet placed an order with them but plan to do so and will give a review after.

I thought I would share what I have in my cart.  I have been trying to slowly purchase new items for our fun Euro trip coming up in July.  Here are some things I just couldn’t live without!

I just love dresses in the summer months and I think all of these are super cute and versatile.  When you travel for a long period of time you want to make sure you bring things that you can wear a few times without looking like your wearing the same outfit over and over LOL.  I just love that skirt because it can be worn so many different ways and look different each time.

Have a great rest of the week!
