TGIF lovies!

I am so excited this week is over and that we are getting closer to Thanksgiving!  Tom and I are hosting this year which is going to be so fun.  I live for entertaining hahah.  I cannot wait until we have a house (with more room!) so we can host and invite a ton of family.  What are your plans for Thanksgiving?!

So, I have been crushing over the rose gold fad for a while.  Both of my wedding bands are rose gold, and I also find myself leaning towards a rose gold and white kitchen (again, once we buy a house lol).  I thought I would share some super cute rose gold accents and decor that you can incorporate into your home or office.   I love how rose gold adds a glamorous vibe without being too much.  These items I have posted below are just subtle ways to incorporate a pop of color and shine into your rooms.

Hi lovies!  Happy Tuesday/Election Day!

For those of you in the good ol’ USA, today is a big day, voting for our presidential election! I was going to do a different post but thought, why not be a little creative?

I always get complements when I wear red, yet I own very little red clothing.  Thought I would post some cute outfit ideas with Red, White and Blue in them.  I got the idea from these velvet navy boots I have been eyeing!

Den Blå Planet in Denmark

Hi lovies!  Happy hump day!

I thought I would share another fun day from our Euro trip.  I feel like I still have sooo many more fun days to talk about and never the time to upload the pics to do it!! I promise I will stop being such a slacker lol.  This day was a perfect family day.  We went with my husbands cousin, Christian, and his wife and 2 girls.  It was a fun thing to do on the overcast day.  It was an aquarium filled with some pretty cool tropical fish.  Everything had the option of being read in Danish and in English so I wasn’t completely out of the loop!  Here are some fun pictures we took to capture the day.  Its a nice spot to check out if you are visiting for an extended period of time and especially if you have kids!  I would have to say that my favorite exhibit was seeing the piranha tank!  They are such crazy and pretty little fish, to think they are so dangerous is just mind blowing!

Outfit Details:

I opted for a comfy outfit this day. I found this tank tops at a boutique in NYC it was perfect for this trip.  I got it in black and white, similar here and here.  I opted for my comfy ripped jeans (similar here) and adidas sneakers.  This bag was also a favorite for me on this trip, perfect size and cross body (found similar here)!

Hi dolls!

I hope everyone is surviving the week, we are so close to the weekend!  I thought I would share some of my favorite go-to items during this time of the year.  Here in NY the weather is so wacky.  One day it can be a nice chilly fall day in the 60’s and then the next day can be back to summer heat and in the 80’s, so crazy.  So what do you wear for the day when you leave your house and its chilly and then it gets warmer later on?  The answer is layers.  I love layering up, especially in the fall.  Here are some items that I love for this transitioning time.

The Wonders of Rome

Ciao Bellas!

So I have been slacking (as per usual) on posting more about our Europe vacation.  Well, I was just looking at pictures and reminiscing on how amazing every part of it was.  I really loved Rome, the history in that city is so amazing.  Europe is just so old compared to the US and the buildings, structures and just overall feel always amazes me.  Here are some shots from one of our days in Rome.  We only got to spend 2 nights (one in the beginning of our trip and then one at the end) and we made the most of it.  I really want to go back and try to stay for longer.  I feel like there is just so much to see and explore!

The Colosseum was fanastic!  To think they had the ability to build this almost 2,000 years ago is so mind blowing to me!  I highly recommend taking a guided tour.  Our tour guide was so informative and made the experience that much more enjoyable!

After the Colosseum our tour guide took us on a nice long walk where we saw the Forum (pictured here).  Its so crazy that as you walk down the streets of Rome you will see all these ancient structures all over.  They do an amazing job trying to preserve everything they come across

The last 2 pictures are of the Pantheon.  Such a beautiful building inside and out.  The rounded dome ceiling is so magical. 

I loved this part of our trip.  I cannot wait to go back and get a chance to explore more.  I will post about our other day in Rome.  Get this, I actually found a raw VEGAN place to eat at near our hotel.  Tom was such a trooper and went there because I really wanted to go.  He really enjoyed what he got and I loved it all!

Autumn Colored Outfits!

Hi loves! I hope everyone had a nice long weekend 🙂

I am loving this transition time, from Summer to Fall.  I drove home this past weekend to spend time with my family.  My drive was so gorgeous! All the leaves are starting to change and it just made the drive so enjoyable!  I was noticing all the vibrant colors of the leaves and it really inspired me into finding some fun fall items that remind me of those amazing colors.  I put together a couple go to outfits, I could live in either one of these outfits LOL.

Fall Dress and Booties from Revolve

Hi loves! Happy Hump day!

 I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.  I am loving this weather lately.  Its the perfect temp here in NY.  Its chilly at night (perfect sleeping weather!) and then warms up to the low 70’s during the day.  This time of the year is my all time fave because I just love the clothing you can wear-and of course all things pumpkin!.  From booties to layers I love them all LOL.  Here are some dresses I think are so perfect for the fall and I matched them up with some booties that I thought completed the look.  I am really loving the suede and mule booties trend this season!  I found all these awesome items at Revolve one of my fave online shops!

Carlsberg Brewery Tour in Denmark

Hi!  Happy Tuesday.  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  It never seems to be long enough though!

I wanted to share another great experience that I had on my Euro trip.  While in Denmark we visited the Carlsberg brewery! It was such a fun time and so informative.  It was founded in 1847 and the tour takes place at their original brewing location.  So much history to see and read about, its definitely a fun couples day trip if you happen to be visiting Copenhagen.  We got there and walked around the gift shop, picked up some cute magnets and sweatshirts as souvenirs.  Then we bought tickets for a tasting.  The tasting was great because the woman conducting it was super knowledgeable about the different beers and told us all about the different hops and grains used and what different methods create the different flavors.  Overall super interesting and of course you get to taste everything, who doesn’t like that? lol  The Danes love Carlsberg and Tuborg beers (and no they do not taste the same here in the states, way better in DK!)
