Hi dolls!

I can’t believe its been 9 days since I last posted, what is wrong with me?!  Life has just been super hectic and I hate that I don’t have enough free time in my life.  Any who, TFIG! So happy the weekend has finally arrived! Any fun plans?

Well I have been loving this one website lately and thought I would share some of my fave items with you guys from House of CB.  They have some of the best ‘going out on the town with you girlfriends’ dresses.  I guess I got in the “mood” to look at fun going out dresses since I am being reunited with one of my besties next weekend and we are going to hit up the night life in NYC, gosh its been so long since I have done that!  I am so overdue for some dancing and girl time with her!

Happy hump day!!  I am so happy we are half way to the weekend! I just love the weekends and having time to unwind, get things done around the apartment and spend time with my love.  We normally have plans and a ton of things going on but this weekend we don’t (yay!) I like to lay low once and a while haha.

Cleveland is the reason..

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! This was our first weekend home in forever so I finally got to do some things around the apartment and get in some much needed rest.  On Valentines weekend we flew to Cleveland to visit my sister!  Cleveland is seriously such a fun city.  It was mine and Tom’s first real time getting to explore and see a lot of the city and we both loved it!  One of the many highlights of the weekend was of course checking out the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  If you ever visit Cleveland I highly recommend checking out the R&R Hall of Fame. Its huge so you need to set aside a few hours to really go through and read and see all the cool things.  They have everything from The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix to The Rolling Stones, Beyonce and a million more in between. I mean they really cover every genre of music over the years, it was a very cool place to see.  I got the chance to take some fun pictures so I thought I would share them.

Happy hump day friends!! I hope everyone had a nice long weekend, I sure did.  I actually had a fun trip to Cleveland to visit my sister! It was so great spending time with her, I hate how far away she lives from me 😦 . I will put up a post from all the fun things we did and saw in Cleveland later in the week.  Today I wanted to share an awesome sale I came across from Nordstrom!  They are offering up to 40% off on their Winter Clearance items!  I thought it would be fun to feature some gorgeous dresses.  Spring is around the corner and wedding season begins (most of ours fall later in the year but still fun to start planning).  I picked out some dresses that I thought would be perfect for all different types of weddings.  Black tie to cocktail dresses and that perfect “little black dress”. Hi lovies!

I hope everyone is having a lovely week thus far, Happy hump day!  I don’t know about you guys but I am itching for spring time.  I just LOVE when all the snow starts to melt (here in NY we have been having record breaking NICE weather-so not normal, but hey I’ll take it) and the birdies are out and chirping in the mornings, the plants start to bloom and you get to start wearing less and less layers.

Well, for some reason, I have been having spring fever and scouting out cute new outfits for the spring that (fingers crossed) is right around the corner.  Thought I would share some of my latest obsessions that are also on sale!

Snow Day Outfit

Hi loves!

I hope everyone had a great weekend and Happy Monday :).  If you were on the east coast I know you were most likely snowed in!  I loved having a snowy weekend.  Tom and I just stayed in and watched movies and cuddled, my favorite thing to do on the weekends when its nasty outside LOL.  We also got a chance to make a bunch of healthy meals and juice a lot.  It was crazy on Saturday and then Sunday came around and the snow stopped and it was so sunny and nice out, so we decided to do a little photo shoot.  I love nothing more then wearing my giant warm Sorel boots, big comfy sweaters and scarves.  Tom got me this scarf in the pictures for Christmas, its made of recycled cashmere from a woman who hand makes them all to order at a cute little shop in Peekskill.  These mirrored sunglasses are so great, you must check out ZeroUv.com, they have awesome prices and really cute options.  I also thought it would be fun to show off one of my favorite hairstyles.  I just love braids (especially fishtails!) and they are such an easy way to add a little something extra to any outfit! I hope you all have a great week and enjoy your Monday!

Hi Dolls!! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving (for those of you in the US).  I cannot believe how consumed I am during the holidays.  It is crazy to think that its been practically a week since I posted last.

I got to try all my yummy vegan Thanksgiving recipes, mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy, stuffing and the most delicious brownies I have ever tasted.  Even all the carnivores were in love with these brownies!  You could not tell at all they were vegan.  What were some of your favorite dishes you made or tried??
