Hi everyone! My name is Lauren. My hubby Thomas and I recently purchased our first home in the amazing Hudson Valley of NY!
I started this blog while we were living outside of NYC and I was commuting in each day for work. I was fortunate enough to be on the Hudson Line train of Metro North (the prettiest scenic ride you could ever ask for!) Which is where I came up with my blog name of, The Lavender Skies.
I love writing about fashion, home decor and plant based recipes. Hope you enjoy!

thank you for your comments; my daughter is vegetarian, so I do my best while cooking for her. I absolutely loved your idea of supporting each other and – why not- start some culinary experiments. I always look for new sources of proteins and we could exchange our ideas 🙂
